In Zweisimmen change trains for Gstaad. Private limousine or taxi service is also available between Gstaad and all major airports.

Is there grocery shopping close by?
Gstaad is known for its first-rate shopping and services. The CoOp and Migros grocery stores are located just at the bottom of the Neueretstrasse. Pernet, in the center of town, is an excellent specialty food and wine shop, and Early Beck, the local bakery, bakes fresh breads and pastries daily. The town also offers a local dairy with fresh milk and cheeses, butcher shop, pharmacy, housewares, stationers, post office, several banks, gift shops, hair salons, galleries, and many upscale clothing stores such as Ciolina, Hermes and Etienne Aigner.

Where is the nearest skiing?
Gstaad is known as one of the premiere ski resorts in the world. The Gstaad “Super Ski Region” is comprised of some six sectors, over 70 lifts, and 150 miles (250 kilometers) of trails, including the famed Diablerets glacier. The nearest skiing to the chalet are the Gstaad moutains of the Eggli, Wispile and Wasserngrat – all of which are within a five minute drive from the chalet, and all of which feature multiple ski runs and lifts, as well as excellent mountain-top restaurants. Other great skiing spots nearby include the Vidamanette in Rougemont, and the Rellerli, Hornberg, Horneggli and Saanersloch in Schonried and Saanenmoser.

May I bring a well-behaved dog or cat?
Unfortunately we do not permit any pets at the chalet, and can make no exceptions. We have pet allergies in the family, as do many of our tenants.

Is the 8-person policy firm?
The chalet is set up to accommodate 8 people, maximum. The only exception we can make to this rule is for babies or toddlers.

Is there wireless internet access?
Yes, the chalet features wi-fi service.

Do you provide sheets and towels?
The chalet is fully stocked with all sheets, duvets, towels and kitchen supplies. Beds will be freshly made for your arrival. For a full list of amenities, please visit our Details page.

What if we need to cancel?

Should the tenant for any reason whatsoever wish to withdraw from the present tenancy agreement, the full rent must be paid as agreed by contract unless another tenancy agreement is approved for the period in question. The same conditions apply if the full time of tenancy is not observed. This policy is firm, regardless of the reason for cancellation. Thank you for your understanding.

Can we arrange a late check-out or early check-in?
Check-in is anytime after 3:00 PM (18:00), and check-out is no later than 11:00 AM. Due to the high demand and rapid turnover rate, we cannot make exceptions in high season. Late check-outs may occasionally be arranged outside of the high season, subject to availability.

Where is the nearest airport?
The nearest international airport is Geneva Airport. Zurich is also easily accessible, though approximately 20 miles further away. The nearby town of Saanen has a small local airport for private and charter planes.

Is there housekeeping service?
The chalet will be cleaned prior to tenant’s arrival. Additional housekeeping service may be arranged for an additional fee.
